takes place on Friday and Saturday February 25th and 26th 2011 at Croke Park, Dublin.
The Ulster Bank Irish Franchise Association EXPO and Awards 2010 enjoyed significant success spearheaded by the Irish Franchise Association and supported by Ulster Bank, with 45 exhibitors and over 2500 visitors attending. The Irish Franchise Association are delighted to announce, given the success of the 2010 event, that they are committed to running an even larger event on the 25th and 26th of February 2011 at Croke Park Dublin, again with the valued support of Ulster Bank. The EXPO will present an exciting array of all franchise opportunities; both existing and new concepts whilst maintaining a strong focus on business format franchising. The EXPO will also feature educational seminars covering all aspects of Franchising from legal matters to finance with interesting case studies and strong strategic management advice.
It is planned that the Irish Franchise EXPO in 2011will introduce a new international village concept where international franchisors, who are looking to recruit suitable master franchisees for Ireland, will exhibit. New workshops will also be introduced and a separate seminar area, as well as private break out rooms for franchisors and prospective franchisees, to discuss the opportunities will also be made available. Monthly easy payment options are also being put in place to assist exhibitors as well as substantial early booking discounts for the “early birds” who wish to pay up front. This Expo will be the only Franchise exhibition in Ireland that will be fully endorsed by the Irish Franchise Association. Chairman of the Association, David Killeen commented “As with last years exhibition, this Expo is being run purely on a not for profit basis and any excess funds generated will be reinvested back into the franchise sector to assist our voluntary body deliver on our mission of “promoting and developing best practice franchising in Ireland and creating an environment within which franchising can grow”. We strongly appeal to all active franchisors to get firmly behind this initiative and give it their full support. The success of this important event will ensure that the Irish Franchise Association has the necessary resources to continue to promote the development of our sector over the coming year”.
